Benton County. One of three counties that make up a portion of the St. Cloud area, Benton keeps growing along with the rest of the region. For example, 2001 population estimates total 35,110, up from 34,431. The county has its share of industrial parks and offers a range of economic development incentives for new or existing businesses.

City of Becker. This city has grown by more than 20 percent per year for the last three years, according to Sherburne County statistics. Population estimates for just the city total about 4,200. The city has its own economic development office that works closely with The Partnership. Becker also boasts a 120-acre industrial park. The city is conveniently located on US Highway 10, 20 minutes south of St. Cloud and 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities.

City of St. Cloud. St. Cloud's city-only population totals around 60,000, but, on a more practical basis, includes a commercial hub of more than 200,000. City leaders are proud of St. Cloud's pro-business environment that hosts thriving industrial parks, a continuously expanding infrastructure of city services, ample economic development enticements, an expanding airport, and safe neighborhoods for your company's employees.

City of St. Joseph.  St. Joseph, a city of 5,074 residents is, located in the heart of Stearns County adjacent to I-94 and ten miles west of St. Cloud.  St. Joseph enjoys all the amenities of a booming metro area while retaining its genuine small town character and friendliness.  It is the home of the College of St. Benedict.

City of Sartell. This city includes over 11,500 residents and is growing rapidly. New retail stores, banks, health care facilities, and other businesses are sprouting near two other, well-established businesses in Sartell that are major employers in the area--DeZurik Water Controls and Verso Paper.

HealthPartners Central MN Clinics. For more than 25 years HealthPartners Central Minnesota Clinics has been serving the St. Cloud area, providing the best in care and service to our patients.  We have a unique range of health care services under one roof. In addition to our primary care clinic we offer these services: Behavioral Health Center, Dental Center, Diabetes Center, Lab and Imaging, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, Sleep Health Center, Memory Disorders Clinic, NovaCare Rehabilitation and Diatia.

Initiative Foundation. A prime source of financing and support, this Little Falls-based foundation focuses on business investment and economic development. It serves 14 counties: Benton, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, and Wright. Since its establishment in 1986 by the McKnight Foundation, The Initiative Foundation has: made 1,285 grants totaling $9.6 million; made 529 loans totaling $11 million; and created more than 5,000 jobs.

St. Cloud Hospital CentraCare Clinic.  St. Cloud Hospital has a rich tradition of caring for the people of Central Minnesota. Since being founded by the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in 1886, it has grown from a small, community hospital to a comprehensive, high-quality regional medical center. St. Cloud Opportunities, Inc. Incorporated in 1955, this non-profit organization undertook the task to create, enhance, extend and increase the opportunities for employment in the St. Cloud Area. Since that time they have created four industrial parks, St. Cloud Industrial Park and St. Cloud Industrial Center West. They played a key role in the creation of The St. Cloud Area Economic Development Partnership in 1985. Aside from their industrial park development, Opportunities is concerned and involved with the growth and development of many other businesses in the St. Cloud Area.

St. Cloud State University. The largest university in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system with an enrollment of 15,000 students, SCSU has an abundance of business resources available. These resources include a nationally accredited college of business, an emerging entrepreneurial center, a variety of programs that offer continuing and executive education, and a number of academic programs in high-tech areas.

St. Cloud Technical College. Businesses throughout the region hire graduates of SCTC, who have taken advantage of a wide range of educational offerings that include industrial-related and technical programs, business-related coursework in areas such as accounting and marketing, and customized training programs for companies through the school's center for innovation and economic development.

Sherburne County. Growth abounds here. Sherburne County continues to be the fastest growing county in Minnesota, with a population of nearly 74,670 (2003), according to recent estimates. Economic development assistance abounds here, too. Most Sherburne cities have active economic development authorities, and the region also is served by the Sherburne County Economic Development Alliance.

Stearns County. Though this county's economy is rapidly diversifying, agribusiness remains a solid portion of the county's commerce. Manufacturing is also strong. Nearly 200 large and small manufacturers, employing over 11,000 workers, manufactured more than $1.5 billion in products in 1999. Currently, the county's population exceeds 137,000 (2003).  Stearns County is celebrating 150th birthday in 2005.
